JUST IN: Turaki Emerges New PDP National Chairman


 

A former Minister of Special Duties and Intergovernmental Affairs, Kabiru Turaki (SAN), has been elected as the National Chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).

Turaki won the PDP national chairmanship election at the convention held in Ibadan, Oyo State, securing 1,516 votes out of 1,834 cast, surpassing Senator Lado, who received 275 votes.

Only two positions were contested: the National Chairman, won by Turaki, and the Deputy National Organizing Secretary, won by Solarin Adekunle
