Oba Rashidi Ladoja, the Olubadan-designate, will be crowned the 44th Olubadan of Ibadanland on Friday, September 26, 2025.
Recall that he is to be installed following the passing of Oba Owolabi Olakulehin on July 7, 2025.
According to reports, the State Governor, Seyi Makinde, had approved his nomination.
On Wednesday, the state delegation met with Ladoja and other Olubadan-In-Council members at his private house in Bodija.
The media aide to the 44th Olubadan, Adeola Oloko, confirmed the development to Newsmen.
“Oba Ladoja will be enthroned as the 44th Olubadan of Ibadanland on Friday, September 26, 2025.
“The ceremony is billed for the ancient Mapo Hall in Ibadan, the state capital”, Oloko said.
