Notable Benin Bakery Owner, Nosakhare Eghobamien Dies At 84

Deacon Daniel Nosakhare Eghobamien, owner of Nosakhare Bakery and founder of Nosakhare Group of Schools is dead, age, 84.

Eghobamien started the bakery business in 1968, becoming well-known for producing the popular “Plymouth Brown Bread” and “Bicycle Bread” in Benin City.

Thereafter, he founded the Nosakhare Model Education Centre in 1996.

The school, began as a multi-purpose building that he eventually dedicated to education following spiritual and professional advice.

He was among the first in the region to have integrated a pure Montessori method for younger children and established a “Skill Acquisition Centre” (2002) to ensure students learn trades alongside academics.
