Super Eagles captain, Wilfred Ndidi, has been thrown into mourning following the death of his father, Sunday Ndidi.
Reports indicate that Sunday Ndidi, a retired military officer, was involved in a fatal road accident on Tuesday in Umunede, Delta State.
He was said to have been rushed to a hospital in Agbor after the crash, where he was later confirmed dead.Wilfred Ndidi had earlier shared an emotional message reflecting on his relationship with his father, recalling their conversations, shared dreams, and the deep personal bond between them.
He also noted that his celebratory dance after scoring his first-ever national team goal was dedicated to his father.
