The Nigeria Customs Service (NCS) Enugu/Anambra/Ebonyi Area Command has achieved a remarkable milestone, generating N50.8 billion in revenue in 2024.
This feat was made possible through the implementation of the Comptroller-General of Customs’ vision and policy guidelines, which emphasize consultation, innovation, and consolidation.
According to Comfort Ukpanah, the comptroller in charge of the area, the command’s success can be attributed to its adherence to these guidelines.
The Enugu/Anambra/Ebonyi Command not only met but also surpassed its revenue target for 2024, collecting a significant amount more than the N28 billion collected in 2023.
This achievement is a clear indication that the economy of the South-East is rebounding.
Ukpanah appreciated the officers and men of the command for their resilience and hard work, assuring the Comptroller-General of Customs and stakeholders of the command’s commitment to surpassing the 2025 revenue target.
The command’s success is a testament to the effectiveness of the Nigeria Customs Service’s policies and guidelines.
