The Nigeria National League (NNL) will hold its monthly award ceremony on Tuesday at the West Point Hotel in Zone 7, Wuse, Abuja.
The event aims to recognize and encourage excellence across various categories in Nigeria’s second-tier league, with award categories including Best Behaved Team of the Month, Best Coach, Best Goalkeeper, Highest Goal Scorer, Best Goal, Best Referee, and Most Valuable Player.
Former Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) chairman Sani Lulu and ex-international Tijani Babangida, current President of the Professional Footballers Association of Nigeria (PFAN), are expected to attend the ceremony.
The initiative, launched in December 2024, has gained traction for spotlighting talent and professionalism within the league.
The NNL’s monthly award ceremony is a step towards promoting excellence in Nigerian football, similar to initiatives by other sports organizations.
