Insurance Feeders, today(April 14) started the 2023 NPFL Clubs U-15 Promise with a 3-1 defeat to Enyimba FC under 15 side at the Remo Stars Stadium in Ikenne, Ogun State.
The Enyimba FC got their first goal through Chineberem Eze in the 27th minute of the game.
On return in the second half, Insurance Feeders made some wonderful attack and their attempt paid off
when Enobakhare Osaigbovo confidently converted the spot kick awarded them in the 43rd minute to make it 1-1.
The man of the match award winner Gabriel Nwankwo netted a brace (47’56’) to wrap up the game 3-1 for the baby Peoples Elephants.
Enyimba currently lead group C after winning the first game of the group.
Earlier in the day, Akwa Utd beat Sunshine Stars 2-1 to open group B while Shooting Stars also pipped Rangers Intl 1-0 to open group D.
The second match of group A between Plateau Utd and Bayelsa Utd ended 4-2 for Plateau Utd.
