Osimhen Makes History, Becomes Nigeria’s 2nd Highest Goal Scorer

Victor Osimhen has overtaken Segun Odegbami as Nigeria’s second-highest goal scorer.

Osimhen achieved this feat after scoring in the Super Eagles’ 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifier against Rwanda in Kigali.

With his goal in the 11th minute, Osimhen took his tally to 24 goals to surpass Odegbami’s 23 goals.

He is now only behind Rashidi Yekini, who holds the record with 37 goals for the Super Eagles.
