The respective chairmen of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Labour Party (LP), and the acting chair of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), namely Abdullahi Ganduje, Julius Abure, and Umar Damagum, have arrived the Supreme Court in Abuja in anticipation of the verdict regarding the 2023 presidential election.
Among those in attendance are Femi Gbajabiamila, the Chief of Staff to the President, Nuhu Ribadu, the National Security Adviser, and Chris Uche SAN, the lead counsel for Atiku Abubakar.
The Supreme Court had previously scheduled Thursday for the pronouncement of judgments on the appeals lodged by the presidential candidates of the Peoples Democratic Party, Atiku Abubakar, and the Labour Party, Peter Obi.
Both Atiku and Obi seek to have the apex court overturn the decision of the presidential election tribunal, which upheld the election of President Bola Tinubu.
