The Cross River State Police Command has paraded six suspects for various crimes.
Briefing newsmen at the command’s headquarters in Calabar, the Commissioner of Police, Sule Balarade said, the suspects were arrested for attempted murder, unlawful possession of firearms, and terrorism.
According to the CP, the suspected terrorists are residents of Bebe community in Obanlinku LGA, of Cross River State, Nigeria.
While warning the politicians and supporters to be civil in their campaigns, the police boss said the command which has set out a new technical intelligence gathering strategy will continue to use community policing to ensure that the state is rid of all forms of criminalities during and after the elections.
