Aminat Tajudeen, a student in the 100-level program at the Kwara College of Education, collapsed and passed away during a lecture.
It was learned that the unfortunate event took place on Wednesday at about 1:30.
The student’s tragic death on Thursday was confirmed by the college’s spokesperson, Mrs. Abibat Zubair, who added that the student was getting ready for a semester exam when she passed away.
The student reportedly slouched after picking up her matriculation gown on Wednesday in anticipation of Thursday’s ceremony.
She stated that the administration of the school had previously visited the deceased’s family to express their condolences.
The student has been buried in accordance with Islamic customs.
