Nigerian lecturer, Dr. Nafiu Lukman Abiodun, the Head Department of Economics and Statistics in the Faculty of Economics and Management Sciences at Kabale University, has been sacked after being found guilty of demanding sex from his female students in exchange for marks.
According to reports by The Independent, a Ugandan newspaper on Monday, Abiodun, a Nigerian national was also the director of research at the University. He was proscribed in June from any University activities, to pave way for investigations into complaints that he was demanding sex from female students in exchange for marks.
Abiodun, according to reports, would give retakes to female students that refused his advances and pass those who gave in.
Truth Live News further gathered that he was earlier dismissed over similar allegations at the Federal University of Technology, Minna in Niger state then proceeded to Uganda, where he continued in the illicit trade.
