The First World Public Assembly (WPA) continues to draw global attention, not only from political leaders and experts but also from prominent cultural figures.

Among them is Uruguayan actress, singer, designer, and public personality Natalia Oreiro, who sent heartfelt greetings to participants of the key panel session, “Latin America—Greater Eurasia: The Era of New Strategic Opportunities.”

Oreiro, who rose to international fame for her leading role in the hit Argentine TV series Wild Angel, is also recognized as a UNICEF Goodwill Ambassador in the Rio de la Plata region, where she champions humanitarian and social causes. Over the years, she has also played significant roles in cultural exchange, including serving on the jury of the Slavyansky Bazar Vitebsk International Art Festival (2018) and performing as a special guest at the New Wave International Competition for Young Performers (2019) in Sochi.

In her video message, Oreiro expressed her admiration for the Assembly’s goals and highlighted Latin America’s place in the emerging multipolar world:

“I am very pleased to welcome all participants of the First World Public Assembly in Moscow,” Oreiro said. “I know that they are high-ranking representatives of international organizations, public figures and active people from more than 140 countries around the world. There are delegations from Latin America, as well as a representative from Argentina, Silvana Yarmolyuk. I warmly welcome you from Rio de La Plata, one of the most beautiful regions of our planet. Thank you very much! Goodbye.”

Latin America, home to major economic leaders such as Brazil and Mexico, remains a dynamic center for international cooperation. Its vibrant civil society and NGOs are at the forefront of public diplomacy, implementing wide-ranging humanitarian, educational, and cultural projects.

The panel session “Latin America — Greater Eurasia: The Era of New Strategic Opportunities” is poised to be a highlight of the Assembly. Experts from Brazil, Venezuela, Cuba, Mexico, Paraguay, and Uruguay will convene to explore new pathways of cooperation. Organizers have also hinted at the possible participation of Ernesto Guevara March, Cuban businessman and son of the legendary revolutionary, Ernesto Che Guevara.
