Sudan: Buses Conveying Nigerian Students Stranded In Sahara Desert (Video)

Despite the Loathsome amount spent in purchase of buses for evacuation Nigerian students from war-torn Sudan, buses conveying students were said to have abruptly stopped in the Sahara dessert.

In a viral video seen by Truth Live News on Twitter, some of the students complained that there drivers stopped in the lonely dessert and refused to move further after complaining of not being paid for the work.

One of the students who spoke on behalf of others said, “can you imagine we have been in this desert for 5 hours. We don’t know the situation we are, our money has finished and the drivers said they’re not moving their buses because be they did not give them money. Which type of attitude is this one?

“Look at this place we are in the desert and don’t even have compass. We are in danger.”

 

The students pleaded with Abike Dabiri Erewa, Chairperson of Nigerians in Diaspora, the Nigerian government government as well as the National Emergency Management Agency (NEMA) to come to their rescue.
