The swearing-in ceremony for the newly confirmed ministers is currently underway at the State House Conference Centre in Abuja.
President Bola Tinubu and Vice President Kashim Shettima are presiding over the ceremony, which is being held at the Banquet Hall of the Presidential Villa.
45 of the 48 nominees the president had put forward for ministerial posts were confirmed by the senate.
The 45 confirmed ministers-designate completed their documentation at the weekend as part of the fulfillments ahead of their swearing-in as cabinet members.
As of the time of filing this report, more than twenty ministers have taken their oath of office in the presence of the president.
