Thousands Of Persons Sign Petition Against Gov. Wike Over Involvement In Election Malpractice

The governor of Rivers state, Nyesom Wike risks being banned from the United Kingdom, United States, Canada, the entire Asia and European countries as over 12000 persons have signed a petition against him on change org, over his alleged involvement in electoral malpractice.

Recall that there were unconfirmed reports of election violence purported by governor Wike in some parts of the state during the February 25 election.

In a publication by Punch, Oyebuchi Ezeagabu, the originator of the petition, wrote that Wike was “operating to destroy electoral process and also requested that the eligibility of the governor and his family’s visas, should be revoked by the countries.

The petition read:

“The Rivers state governor, Nyesom Wike, has been operating to destroy electoral process in the state he governs. We demand his and his family’s visas eligibility revoked.

Other signees of the petition corroborated Ezeagabu’s request, adding that Wike saw to the killings of thousands of Igbos at Obigho in Port Harcourt, the state capital.
