Three Teenagers Abduct Girl, Demand N2m Ransom In Kano

The Katsina State Police Command has arrested three teenagers for allegedly kidnapping a six-year-old girl in Kano State and demanding N2 million as a ransom for her release.

The suspects who were identified as Abdulrazaq Ibrahim, Aliyu Salisu, and Muhammed Ibrahim are said to be 19 years old.

In a statement by the spokesman of the command, SP Gambo Isah, the police disclosed that the trio kidnapped the victim, Fatima Abubakar, on January 6, 2023, and brought her to Katsina.

They thereafter demanded a ransom of N2m for her release.

Operatives of the command swung into action after receiving credible intelligence on the incident thus leading  to the arrest of one of the Salisu when he was about collecting the ransom and the two other suspects were subsequently arrested after further investigation
