Tope Fasua, Special Adviser on Economic Affairs to President Bola Tinubu, has advised Nigerian youths to utilize their internet time more productively by learning new skills.

Fasua stressed that instead of spending time criticizing the government and prominent individuals online, youths should focus on acquiring skills that can improve their employability and contribute to the country’s development.

He encouraged Nigerians to position themselves to benefit from the emerging opportunities in the country, stressing that the economy is growing and people are making money.

Fasua also heighted the importance of taking advantage of free online training resources to enhance their skills and become more employable.

This development comes on the heels of Tinubu’s emphasis on the importance of skills acquisition for Nigerian youths.

Recall that the President has previously urged youths to commit to technical, vocational, and skill acquisition programs to become self-employed and self-independent.
