A young mother identified as Mrs. Blessing has been caught while beheading her son for money ritual.
The ugly incident occurred in Ibenda 2, Biko-Biko, Ugep, Yakurr Local Government Area of Cross River State.
Truth Live News learnt that the main reason for the act is yet to be established as at the time of filling this report. However, according to reports, the mother has been arrested by the police for further investigation.
Eyewitnesses said the decapitated boy who was about 2 years old was killed in the early hours of Tuesday November 29, 2022.
When was asked by residents why she killed her son, Blessing said; “invisible person told me to chop off his head, thereafter, I would be rewarded with a hundred thousand N100,000 only.”
The remains of the toddler is said to be undergoing traditional rites before burial.
