Governor Nyesom Wike of Rivers has asked the people of Oyo state to vote in Makinde for a second term in order to finish the admirable and good deeds he began four years ago.
Wike made this statement on Thursday while addressing a sizable crowd at Makinde’s second term campaign launch in Ibadan’s historic Mapo Hall.
“We’re here today to ask for your help so that Gov. Makinde can keep up the fantastic work he’s already started since you elected him in 2019.
“We are able to market Gov. Makinde to you today for reelection because he is a quality product.
“On federal and state election day, you should all turn out in force to vote Makinde and other party candidates (Senators, Fed Lawmakers and State Lawmakers)
Wike stated that everyone would be informed at the right time as to which candidate the G5 Governors would be endorsing for the presidential election.
The ancient Mapo Hall was packed to capacity, and the roads leading to the venue were completely congested, according to a Truth Live News correspondent who attended the campaign’s flag-off.
According to a party stakeholder who spoke to our correspondent, Makinde’s re-election bid is already settled as he is well-liked by all and sundry.
