Edo Commander, Man O War Nigeria, Odunze Gets New Role

The National Commander, Man O War Nigeria has appointed the Edo State Commander, Mr. Eberechukwu Caleb Odunze the Acting Regional Secretary for the, South South Regional Command.

His appointment was contained in a statement signed by the Director of Operations and Rescue, Man O War Nigeria, Dr. Alero Abokwara Adjekota and made available to Journalists in Benin.

Dr. Adjekota said the appointment was sequel to his excellent performance in earlier interview which he participated in.

His words “I am pleased to inform you that consequent upon your brilliant performance in the just concluded interview to fill the available vacancies from the last appointment exercise, the management has approved your appointment as the Acting Regional Secretary for the South South Regional Command with effect from 1st September, 2025.”

You are to work with the National Commander and other National officers to promote virtues and ethics of Man O War Nigeria.

“Hearty Congratulations and my best wishes,” Responding to the appointment, Mr. Oberechukwu Caleb Odunze thanked Man O War Nigeria for the confidence reposed in him, assuring the body of his sincere commitment to its growth.

Odunze who has served in various capacities from unit, area and state command before he was appointed Commander of Man O War Edo State in January 2018 before his new appointment as the Acting Regional Secretary South South Regional Command, said it is a clarion call for him to redouble his efforts to the cause of humanity.

The seasoned and trained Volunteer who has put in more than 20 years of active service in Man O War Nigeria and has attended several professional and leadership training courses which include, Citizenship & Leadership training courses from Sherehills Jos, Sea School Logos, Forest School Porthacourt, Women unit Delta, and others, said he accepted the appointment wholeheartedly.
