The abductors of Cross River State Commissioner for Women Affairs have demanded N150m for her to be released.
Recall that on the 1st of February 2023, Truth Live News reported the news of abduction of the Commissioner for Women Affairs Mrs Gertrude Njar, in Calabar south LGA, shoes found in the creek.
The serving Commissioner was whisked away at Mbukpa, in the south south region of Nigeria at about 9:25 a.m on Wednesday, 1 February 2023.
After eight days in captivity, the newspaper learnt that the abductors have demanded for N150m as random in order for her to be released.
