The tribunal’s decision to reject the admissibility of evidence presented by LP’s web engineer, Mpeh Ogar, concerning a technical glitch on the INEC result viewing portal stemmed from Ogar’s status as an interested party within the petition, having previously contested for elective office under LP’s banner. This rendered his testimony potentially biased, according to the tribunal’s ruling.

Justice Tsammani emphasized that the judgment of the US District Court in Northern Illinois, which had ordered the forfeiture of $460,000 belonging to Mr. Tinubu in a drug-related case, occurred within the context of civil proceedings where Mr. Tinubu was not a direct participant. In light of this, Justice Tsammani asserted that the petitioners failed to furnish credible evidence demonstrating Tinubu’s involvement in any criminal litigation in the United States, including arraignment, plea, sentencing, or fines.

Furthermore, the tribunal dismissed the petitioners’ assertion of 18,000 blurred result sheets from IREV as unsubstantiated. They argued that the petitioners had stationed their agents at polling units, wards, local government areas, states, and national collation centers, making it unlikely that such a significant discrepancy could go unnoticed.
