The Edo State PDP Deputy Chairman, Harrison Omagbon, has slammed Dan Orbih, the party’s National Vice Chairman (South-South), for his anti-party activities in the state.

Speaking on Channels TV’s “Politics Today” monitored by Truth Live News, Omagbon expressed bewilderment at Orbih’s behaviour, given his position as a high-ranking official of the party.

Omagbon revealed that he was once affiliated with Orbih’s legacy group but decided to pitch his tent with the PDP because of his recognition of the fact that the party is one.

He added that his decision also followed the fact that he wants to ensure the party’s continued dominance in the state for the overall benefit of the masses.

While acknowledging that conflicts arise in politics, he stressed the importance of reconciliation, amplifying the need for a united front.

Fielding question on the demands of Orbih and his group, Omagbon criticized Orbih and his group for not clearly stating their demands, leaving him perplexed about their expectations from the PDP and Governor Godwin Obaseki.

This was as he also took a swipe at Oshiomhole, former Governor of Edo State, for his comment that Governor Obaseki was given the opportunity to become a house master and then decided to send everyone in the house outside.

Omagbon remarked that when did Edo State become a personal property for Oshiomhole to assume such, stressing that his statement was characteristic of his tendency to speak without rational thinking, a trait he repeatedly exhibits.

He, as well, used the platform to praise Governor Godwin Obaseki’s laudable efforts in infrastructure development, civil service, and other areas, expressing his pride in the Governor’s accomplishments.
