
Three teenagers have been charged in connection with the killing of 16-year-old Chloe Watson Dransfield in Leeds, police have confirmed.
According to West Yorkshire Police, Kayla Smith, 18, and Archie Rycroft, 19, have been remanded in custody and are set to appear before a magistrates’ court. A 17-year-old boy, whose identity is being withheld for legal reasons, has also been charged.
Truth Live News International learnt from Sky News that, the victim was found unconscious with stab wounds in the early hours of Saturday and later died in hospital.
Authorities said emergency services were called to an address in the Austhorpe area of the city following reports that a young woman had been discovered unresponsive.
In a related development, another 18-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of murder and remains in custody. Meanwhile, an 18-year-old woman and a 17-year-old boy previously detained in connection with the case have been released on bail pending further investigation.
Tributes have continued to pour in for the teenager, with family members describing her as vibrant and deeply loved.
In a statement, her mother said: “My beautiful princess Chloe. I cannot put into words how I feel that you are not here with me… There’s a big hole in my heart that can never be filled.”
Residents have since laid flowers at the scene as investigations continue.
