Soma and Angel Smith were romantically involved during the Big Brother Naija All-Stars season in 2023. Their relationship attracted attention at the time, especially when Angel hinted at a possible pregnancy using an emoji, leading many to speculate that Soma was responsible. However, the relationship eventually ended, and Angel later went public with her relationship with Tumi.
Recently, reports surfaced that Angel and Tumi’s marriage, which was celebrated with a lavish ceremony abroad, has hit a crisis shortly after the event. This development has fueled widespread discussion on social media.
Amid the situation, Soma took to Instagram with a subtle but symbolic message. He shared a Bible verse, Exodus 14:14, which reads:
“The Lord will fight for you; you need only to be still.”
The message, often interpreted as a call to remain calm and trust in divine intervention during difficult times, quickly drew attention given the timing.
In the accompanying post, Soma appeared relaxed, sitting in a rocking chair with a drink in hand. At one point, he looked down at the glass before facing the camera. Notably, he disabled the comment section, preventing public reactions and interpretations from flooding the post.
The post comes as more details continue to emerge about Angel and Tumi’s relationship. In recent weeks, Angel had shared her wedding invitation online, sparking excitement among fans. However, shortly after, she was seen without her wedding ring, and reports of trouble in the marriage began circulating.
There were also unconfirmed claims that Angel was questioned by authorities following an allegation made by Tumi involving $40. Tumi later released a video addressing the situation, alleging that Angel’s mother influenced events and suggesting that Angel may not have been fully ready for marriage.
