2027: U.S. Based Philanthropist, Civic Leader, Louis Ebhodaghe Declares for House of Representatives Race

By Truth Live News International

In what many political observers are already describing as a significant boost for grassroots driven representation in Edo Central, respected United States based philanthropist, civic leader, and community development advocate, Louis Ebhodaghe, has formally declared his intention to contest for the House of Representatives seat representing Esan Central, Esan West, and Igueben Federal Constituency in 2027.

Speaking in an exclusive telephone conversation with the Editor in Chief of Truth Live News in London, Ebhodaghe said his decision to enter the race is born out of a deep passion to improve the quality of life of his people, expand opportunities for the youth, strengthen healthcare delivery, and ensure that constituents begin to enjoy genuine dividends of purposeful representation at the National Assembly.

According to him, “Public office must be about service, impact, and measurable development. Our people deserve representation that speaks for them, fights for them, and delivers meaningful results that touch lives directly.”

A Man Built on Service, Not Mere Politics

For over four decades, Louis Ebhodaghe has built an impressive record of professional excellence, humanitarian intervention, and civic engagement.

He is the President of Louis Global Associates, LLC and holds an MBA in Management from Troy University, alongside an undergraduate degree in Microbiology/Medical Technology from North Dakota State University. He is also a distinguished member of the American Society for Clinical Pathology, with over 40 years of experience as a Clinical Scientist in laboratory medicine, a career marked by professionalism, discipline, and service to humanity.

But beyond boardrooms and laboratories, his strongest credentials may well be his humanitarian footprint.

Nineteen Years of Hope for the Downtrodden

In 2004, Ebhodaghe founded the HopeShare Foundation, Inc., a nonprofit organization driven by the vision of:

“Restoring Hope and Improving Quality of Life through Education and Healthcare.”

For the past 19 years, that vision has translated into real interventions for vulnerable communities, widows, children, the sick, and the poor, particularly in Edo State and across Nigeria.

Through HopeShare Foundation, he has:

  • Supported community based organizations focused on education and healthcare access
  • Partnered on multiple medical missions to Esanland, Edo State, delivering health interventions to underserved communities
  • Collaborated with Mercy Foundation on humanitarian outreach programmes
  • Worked alongside the Nigerian Women Association of Georgia to support feeding programmes at Zuma Memorial Orphanage in Irrua
  • Carried out volunteer humanitarian support at Internally Displaced Persons camps in Abuja
  • Sponsored feeding outreach for underprivileged communities in Makoko, Lagos, one of Nigeria’s most deprived settlements
  • Continued direct charitable interventions aimed at restoring dignity, health, and hope to struggling families

Political watchers note that while many seek office first before offering service, Louis Ebhodaghe appears to have spent nearly two decades serving quietly before seeking office, a profile many constituents may find compelling.

A Tested Voice for Africans and Immigrant Communities

His leadership record also extends internationally.

As former President of the Coalition of Concerned Africans, Inc. between 2001 and 2004, he championed major advocacy initiatives that elevated African voices in the United States.

Among his notable achievements:

  • Leading advocacy that contributed to the establishment of the Governor’s Council on Africa in Georgia
  • Supporting the annual celebration of Africa Day at the Georgia State Capitol
  • Building bridges between African and Latino communities in support of immigrant rights
  • Advocating for Georgia House Bill 816, aimed at expanding access to driver’s licences for immigrants
  • Promoting inclusion, civic participation, and multicultural cooperation

He also served on the board, and later as Vice President, of the African Diaspora Foundation, a nationally recognized organization focused on peace education, non violence, conflict resolution, and reconciliation, inspired by the philosophies of Mahatma Gandhi and Martin Luther King Jr..

Why Many Believe He Is the Right Man for Edo Central

At a time when Nigerians are increasingly demanding competence over noise, service over slogans, and compassion over politics as usual, Louis Ebhodaghe enters the race with credentials that combine:

Professional excellence

International exposure

Grassroots philanthropy

Healthcare expertise

Youth and community empowerment

Humanitarian leadership

A long record of service to the vulnerable

For many in Esan Central, Esan West, and Igueben, the 2027 race may not simply be about politics, but about choosing a representative with a proven heart for service and a measurable record of lifting lives.

If service is the true test of leadership, Louis Ebhodaghe has already spent nearly two decades writing his answer in the lives he has touched.
