Real Madrid manager Xabi Alonso has described the club’s 4-0 defeat to Paris Saint-Germain in the Club World Cup is a bitter end to Luka Modric’s Los Blancos career.
The match against PSG was Modric’s last game as a Real Madrid player.
Modric will join AC Milan this summer after Real Madrid opted not to extend his deal at Santiago Bernabeu.
Alonso praised Modric, saying he is a club legend, a football legend, and a great man who will be remembered forever in Madrid.
