Anyanwu Emerges Imo PDP Guber Candidate

The People Democratic Party (PDP) National Secretary, Senator Samuel Anyanwu has emerged the party’s gubernatorial Candidate for the November 11 Imo Governorship Election.

His emergence came after the party’s primary election on Wednesday at its headquarters along Okigwe Road in Owerri, the capital of Imo state.

Recall, On November 11, 2023, off-cycle governorship elections are anticipated in the states of Imo, Kogi, and Bayelsa.

Anyanwu received 802 votes from the three delegates from each electoral ward in the state that participated in the election, who were accredited by the electoral panel that carried out the election.
