Kabir Sani-Giant, Special Adviser to Governor Nasir Idris on Power and Politics, has been suspended by the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Kebbi State with immediate effect.
In a statement issued in Benin Kebbi on Sunday, the party’s state secretary, Alhaji Sa’idu Muhammad-Kimba, announced the suspension.
He disclosed that on February 8, 2025, Sani-Giant brought a snake to Government House, causing fear among dignitaries, statesmen, and officials.
Muhammad-Kimba stated that the act could bring embarrassment and discredit to the APC.
“His suspension remains in place pending further investigation and possible disciplinary action, which could lead to expulsion if repeated,” he said.
He further explained that Sani-Giant’s actions were deemed offensive and embarrassing by the party. He added that the conduct also violated the APC’s constitution.
