A powerful ‘suicide’ device exploded today, Friday September 29, at a rally commemorating Prophet Mohammad’s noble birthday in Mastung, a district in Balochistan province in southwest Pakistan.
According to Qud News Network, Pakistani Assistant Commissioner, Ataullah Muneem stated that the explosion occurred near an Eid Miladun Nabi gathering and that approximately 50 persons were killed and several injured.
The nature of the blast is unknown and more information is awaited.
