A Kwara State High Court in Ilorin has sentenced Abdulrahman Bello, a self-acclaimed Islamic cleric, to death by hanging for the gruesome killing of Hafsoh Lawal.

The judgment was delivered earlier today by Honourable Justice Ajayi, marking the end of a widely followed case that had deeply unsettled the state. Bello was convicted of culpable homicide and unlawful possession of human parts, while four other suspects were discharged and acquitted.
