The Edo state Labour Party, has suspended Murphy Paul Imasuen from the party for alleged anti-party’s activities.
Others suspended in the party are Mr. Ikuoyemwen Ehiwe, Mr. Jegede Idemudia, Captain Oronsaye Augustine
The state chairman of the party, Comrade Kelly Ogbaloi, disclosed this at the party’s secretariat in Benin.
According to Comrade Ogbaloi, the state executives have met to review its activities and resolved that the party can no longer accommodate the anti party activities of Mr Murphy Paul Imasuen and has consequently resolved to suspend him from the party.
“The state exco met to review its activities and take reports from the State Working Committee (SWC) on the day to day running of our great party and immediately before it was the continued intransigence of Mr. Murphy Paul Imasuen and his collaborators, against the party he called his own, the exhibition of alien rascality, dangerous exhumation, that has crystalized him as a nonparty man, unyielding attitude to reasonable persuasions, gross insubordination to legally constituted authority of the party, reckless publications of party policy issues, without due authorization and deep participation in the recent infringement on the party, created uninteligently by Apapa Lamidi, a tragic power seeker of a mean nature, all these inspite of unparallel resilience deployed by the party, especially at the state level, Exco became considerably constrained to co-inhibit further with these characters in the same confines, and resolved therefore that Mr. Paul Murphy Imasuen is suspended indefinitely from Labour Party.

“Finally, party hierarchy gave no attention to an alleged outrageous social miscreant, Agho Blessing who incidentally we understood, is Mr. Murphy Paul Imasuen’s mistress, because she is not a member of Labour Party.
Responding to the alleged suspension, Murphy Imasuen said he has not been officially served and that he can’t rely on hearsay.
