Gabriel Igbinedion, the Esama of Benin Kingdom, has urged Christians all over the world to emulate the exemplary life of Christ and place the need of others above their personal interest.
The honorary Romanian Consul to Edo and Delta States made the call during his Goodwill message to Christians all over the world.
While advising Christians to emulate the sacrifices that will advance the course of humanity, the Benin Chief stressed that Easter is a period of fresh beginning, forgiveness, love, and friendship.
He, however, felicitated with Christians on the occasion of Easter celebration
The Benin Chief also appealed to the well to do in the society to remember the less privileged among them and extend the hands of fellowship to them adding that, such is the exemplary life of Christ.
He said Christ laid down His life for mankind which represents putting the interest of others above His personal needs.
