The Edo State Governor, Mr. Godwin Obaseki has pleaded with the Otaru of Auchi, Aliru Momoh, to support his strong desire and committment to produce a worthy and credible successor that will build on his legacies.
The governor made the call during the 27th edition of the Auchi Day celebration in Etsako West Local Government of the State.
The governor was represented by the Commissioner for Youths and Humanitarian Affairs, Dada Abubakar, during the celebration.
Governor Obaseki also pleaded with the royal father and the community to cooperate with him to finish well and strong noting that his utmost desire.
He urged them to support his administration to produce a worthy successor who will make Edo the best state in the country.
The governor further stated that his administration had achieved a lot in Auchi and promised to do more for the community before the end of his tenure.
“As a government, we have achieved a lot in Auchi Sacred Kingdom, with the Auchi Central Hospital becoming a Specialist Hospital, the erosion control and rehabilitation of Igbe Road, as well as the upgrade of Ikelebe Sports Arena to a mini-stadium,” Obaseki said.
