NIGERIA, ABUJA – Supporters of the Minister of State for Foreign Affairs, Bianca Odumegwu Ojukwu, have expressed confidence in her leadership and diplomatic role, using her birthday anniversary to commend what they described as her dedication to public service and Nigeria’s international image.
The goodwill messages followed a birthday post by Ojukwu on her official X handle, where she reflected on her life’s journey, expressed gratitude to God, and thanked supporters for their encouragement.
Born August 5, 1968, Ojokwu said “I remain profoundly thankful for the Almighty’s precious gifts, for life and good health, family and friends, and the capacity to make a difference.”
In her 58th birthday message, Ojukwu expressed appreciation for the experiences that had shaped her life and thanked supporters for their goodwill.
Among those who reacted was Jennifer EzeBoulassane, who said Ojukwu had disproved the notion that beauty and intelligence could not coexist, while applauding what she described as the minister’s contributions to strengthening Nigeria’s diplomatic standing.
“You have proven the naysayers that brains come with beauty. In these past months, you have shown that Nigeria deserves much-needed respect. You have helped bring back so many unjustified incarcerations and strengthened our diplomatic stance,” she wrote.
Another follower, Fastlane Jr., praised Ojukwu’s performance in office despite his political affiliation, saying effective governance should be acknowledged irrespective of party lines.
“You’re representing the office of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs very well… I’m not a supporter of APC, but I believe in good governance. Keep it up,” he said.
Shehu Modibbo also described the minister as compassionate, recalling his encounter with her during his diplomatic service in Madrid.
“My encounter with you in Madrid in September 2015 confirmed to me that you are kind-hearted and humane. God bless you,” he wrote.
Similarly, Dr. Calculus MD urged Ojukwu to continue upholding the legacy of her late husband, Dim Chukwuemeka Odumegwu Ojukwu, while wishing her many more years of life.
The reactions reflected widespread admiration among many of her followers, who used the occasion not only to celebrate her birthday but also to express confidence in her leadership and public service.
