Afrobeats icon, David Adedeji Adeleke, popularly known as Davido, has outshone Rema, Gunna and Tyla at the 2026 Liberian Entertainment Awards, winning the Best International Act prize.
The award was presented over the weekend at the Lisner Auditorium, further demonstrating Davido’s standing as one of Africa’s most influential music icons.
The latest honour adds to a long list of international recognitions for the Nigerian singer, whose career has played a central role in taking Afrobeats to a global stage.

The “If you not get money, hide your face” crooner was born in Atlanta, U.S, and raised in Lagos, Nigeria. He made his music debut as a member of the group KB International.
