Joao Felix’s Premier League debut was marred by his dismissal in Chelsea’s 2-1 loss to Fulham on Thursday.

With the defeat, the Blues are now winless in their last four games after losing three straight games (three defeats and one draw).

Felix was impressive for Graham Potter’s team before receiving red card. He had the most shots, and dribbles, while also creating the joint most big chances.

All of that however changed when he was dismissed for a dangerous challenge on Kenny Tete in the 58th minute.

With that development, Felix made Premier League history by becoming the first Chelsea player to receive a red card during debut match.

Willian, a former Chelsea winger, cut inside from the left and his shot flew into the bottom corner after a deflection off Trevoh Chalobah in the 25th minute.

But Kalidou Koulibaly equalized for Chelsea in the 47th minute.

And, as a result of Felix’s dismissal, Fulham took advantage, going 2-1 up in the 73th minute thanks to Carlos Vinicius.

As it stands, Chelsea are now tenth in the league table with 25 points, while Fulham are sixth with 31 points.
