Former Edo FA Chair, Abu Given Ultimatum To Surrender Association Properties In His Possession

The Edo State Football Association has issued an ultimatum to Abu, the former Chair of the Edo FA, to return all association properties currently in his possession.

This development was contained in an official statement dated June 15, 2023, and signed by Unujiaga Andrew, the Secretary of the Edo State Football Association.

The statement, titled “Surrendering of Edo FA Properties in Your Possession,” was exclusively shared with Truth Live News. Its reads as follows:

“Sequel to Nigeria Football Federation directives to Edo FA to conduct Local Council Election and Board Executive Committee Election forthwith, I am directed to write to you and demand for the following:

“Filled forms for those who purchase forms vying for chairmanship, vice chairmanship, and membership of Local Council Elections.

“Monies accrued from sales of forms 1 Above

“Monies accrued for Chairmanship, Vice Chairmanship, and Membership for Board Executive Committee.

“Monies accrued from sales of form as per 3. Above

”Anything in your possession that will help us in prosecution of a free, fair and credible elections.”

The association emphasized that these demands were made out of necessity, urging Abu to promptly and urgently comply with them.
