Governor of Akwa Ibom state Pastor Umo Bassey Eno has declared Wednesday May 29, 2024 as public holiday in the state.
Commissioner for Information Comrade Ini Ememobong, made this known in a release on Tuesday.
He said the holiday is to allow all citizens participate in the event marking the one year anniversary of the Governor in office.
Therefore, all Governmment Agencies, private organizations, security agencies and entire citizens are by this notice give effect to the declaration.
