In the lead-up to the Edo State Governorship election, Engr. D.D. Ilugbekhai Inwomoh, a key figure in the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) and member of its Advisory Council, has reiterated that Dr. Asue Ighodalo, if elected, will spearhead a new phase of economic growth aimed at establishing a financially independent and sustainable state.
Ilugbekhai emphasized, “Ighodalo plans to open the economy to attract new capital, knowledge, ideas, and higher levels of efficiency through investments, which will create significant employment opportunities for young people.”
Highlighting the contrast with the opposition, Ilugbekhai remarked, “Unlike the opposition party, which has shown an inability to effectively manage the country’s affairs and remains entrenched in a cycle of complaints, Dr. Asue Ighodalo, the PDP’s governorship candidate, will be a proactive leader. He is committed to lifting Edo State citizens out of economic and social hardships, ensuring that the state moves forward with a clear, actionable plan for development.”
Ilugbekhai also noted that Ighodalo’s approach is grounded in a deep understanding of the state’s needs and potential.
“His strategies are not just about immediate relief but about building a resilient economic infrastructure that supports long-term growth and stability,” he added.
“Ighodalo is poised to implement policies that will harness the state’s resources effectively, promote sustainable practices, and create an inclusive economy that benefits every segment of the population.”
Engr. Ilugbekhai’s confidence in Ighodalo’s leadership stems from his comprehensive policy framework and a proven track record of competence and innovation.
“Edo State needs a leader who can move beyond rhetoric to deliver tangible results,” he concluded. “Dr. Asue Ighodalo is that leader, ready to transform Edo into a beacon of progress and prosperity.”
