Osun State Governor, Ademola Adeleke, has given the nod for the suspension of Chief Judge, Justice Oyebola Ojo.
This development comes in defiance of the National Industrial Court’s restraining order.
A statement released by the Governor’s spokesperson, Olawale Rasheed, on Thursday, affirmed that the governor endorsed the resolution of the House of Assembly, directing the Chief Judge to step aside amidst allegations of misconduct.
“The Executive Governor of Osun State, Governor Ademola Adeleke, has approved the resolution of the Osun State House of Assembly asking the Osun State Chief Judge, Adepele Ojo, to step aside pending the investigation of allegations of misconduct, abuse of power, corruption, and disregard for the rule of law against her by the House of Assembly,” the statement reads.
