The federal government has stated that Ahmad Gumi, the Islamic cleric based in Kaduna, has been summoned for questioning regarding his remarks on the actions of bandits in the country.
Mohammed Idris, the minister responsible for information and orientation, delivered remarks on Monday during a press briefing at the State House in Abuja.
Idris mentioned that Gumi should follow the law like everyone else, mentioning that the government has thought it important to ask him some questions.
