Six Nigerians were verified killed over the course of the five-day Hajj rites in Mina and Arafat, according to the National Hajj Commission of Nigeria (NAHCON).
There have now been 13 pilgrims who have died total during this year’s Hajj.
During a recent Makkah stakeholders meeting, Dr. Usman Galadima, Head of the Medical Mission for NAHCON, made this announcement.
Two Nigerian ladies gave birth during the five-day Hajj rituals, according to Dr. Galadima.
According to him, three cases of chicken pox were among the 93 emergency cases that were attended to.
