Large Turnout At PU 42, 43 Obadeyi Amid Media Harassment

At Poling Units 42 and 43 Obadeyi Bus Stop along Lagos Abeokuta Expressway, a party agent made attempt to stop the media men from covering the exercise, saying it was not time to make reports.

The party agent who failed to reveal the political party he was working for queried some journalists who were on hand to cover the exercise, saying it was not right to bring any camera or to even write anything concerning the polling units until the exercise was done.

“Please stop there, don’t ask any question and don’t use your phone here; if you are here to vote, kindly go and do so and leave.

“This is not time for this; we have time for this please,” he said, ignoring the identification cards from both and INEC, on the strength of which the exercise was being covered.

Meanwhile, at the two polling units, which are together, there were mammoth crowd as voting started and was going on smoothly.

According to a voter, but for some lapses experienced during the accreditation, the exercise was going on seamlessly.
