Anglican Archbishop Released After 30 Days In Kidnappers’ Den

Kidnapped Anglican Archbishop, Most Rev. Prof. Godwin Okpala has regained his freedom from his kidnappers’ den.

Okpala, a retired Archbishop of the Niger Province and Bishop of Nnewi, was set free alongside his driver, one month after he was kidnapped.

Recall that the Anglican cleric had went missing on his way to Umuchu, a community in Anambra State for a burial ceremony.

Okpala who confirmed the development in a post on his Facebook page, Thursday morning, wrote: “Praise the Lord!”

Meanwhile, hundreds of reactions have started pouring in following his statement immediately after thanking God for his freedom.
