The National Publicity Secretary of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Felix Morka, is unsure when President Bola Tinubu’s policies will start yielding results.
Morka made this statement while fielding questions from journalists at the APC National Secretariat in Abuja, amidst Nigerians’ struggles with unemployment, poverty, and insecurity.
He used an analogy of a child learning to walk, saying the child must crawl before walking, to describe the current state of the economy.
Morka attributed the removal of fuel subsidy to the President’s commitment to the nation’s overall interest, rather than postponing the issue like previous administrations.
He described insecurity as a global phenomenon that Nigeria has faced for the past 20 years.
Morka also refuted claims that the APC has started campaigning for the President’s re-election, stating that endorsement is not the same as campaigning.
