The National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) has announced that the 2026 Batch ‘B’ Stream II Orientation Course will begin on Tuesday, August 5, 2026, across the country.
In a statement issued on Monday by its Director of Information and Public Relations, Caroline Embu, the scheme said the three-week programme would run simultaneously in all 36 states and the Federal Capital Territory until Tuesday, August 25, 2026.
Prospective corps members can now access their Call-up Numbers via their dashboards, while Call-up Letters will be made available in due course. “Accordingly, Call-up Numbers have been uploaded to the dashboards of prospective Corps Members, while Call-up Letters will be made available in due course,” the statement read.
The Director-General of the NYSC, Brig.-Gen. Olakunle Nafiu, congratulated the prospective corps members on completing their studies. “He congratulates all prospective Corps Members mobilised for the 2026 Batch ‘B’ Stream II Service Year on the successful completion of their studies in higher institutions within and outside Nigeria, which has qualified them for national service,” the statement said.
Nafiu advised them to prioritise safety during travel to the orientation camps. “He wishes them a safe journey to their respective Orientation Camps and strongly advises them to avoid travelling at night. The Director General also urges them to strictly adhere to all travel and safety guidelines throughout their journey to the camps,” it added.
The announcement follows the successful completion of the 2026 Batch ‘B’ Stream I orientation, which ran from June 10 to June 30 nationwide (with a rescheduling in Niger State).
