Former Roma manager, Jose Mourinho, has expressed his eagerness to return to coaching, stating that he is currently without offers but ready to resume his career as early as this summer.
The 61-year-old Portuguese coach, who led Roma from July 2021 until January 2024, recently spoke about his future plans in an interview with Globo. During his tenure at Roma, Mourinho guided the team to victory in the UEFA Conference League and a runner-up position in the Europa League.
Mourinho, despite previously being linked with clubs like Newcastle, Chelsea, and Manchester United, stressed his openness to opportunities in various leagues, including potentially coaching a Portuguese team.
“I don’t have a club, I’m free. But I want to work in the summer, I want to work. Portuguese team? Never say no, especially in football. My life is football, I can coach anywhere and I have no problems,” Mourinho affirmed.
