Bayer Leverkusen Managing Director, Simon Rolfes, has confirmed that Victor Boniface will not be joining Saudi club Al Nassr.
Recall that Al Nassr had earlier pulled out of the deal and instead signed Aston Villa’s Jhon Duran despite reaching an agreement with Leverkusen for the transfer.
Rolfes expressed happiness that Boniface will remain with the club, stating, “There have been talks, but we are happy that he will be training with us today. I assume that he will stay.”
Rolfes added that Boniface feels comfortable at the club and his attitude towards the team remains unchanged.
